At Swae, we design products to travel with you for the long haul. Every piece is crafted with care, and we stand behind the quality of our products. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects so you can travel with total confidence.

Travel Backpack - Lifetime Warranty

Your Swae Travel Backpack is backed by our Lifetime Warranty. If you experience a manufacturing defect that affects its function, we’ll repair or replace it - for the life of the product.

The lifetime of your Swae backpack refers to how long the materials and hardware are expected to last with regular use and care. Naturally, things will wear down over time. When those signs of wear reach a point where the backpack no longer functions as it should, the lifetime of the product comes to an end.

Accessories - 3-Year Warranty

Our accessories, including packing cubes and the toiletries bag, are covered by a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects.

What’s Covered

We cover manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, such as:

  • Broken zippers
  • Stitching or seam defects
  • Hardware failure (like buckles or fastenings)
  • Material flaws affecting functionality

What’s Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear from normal use (like scuffs, scratches, fabric fading, abrasions, or stains)
  • Cosmetic damage that doesn’t affect functionality
  • Accidental damage (such as rips, punctures, or damage from over-packing or mishandling)
  • Damage from misuse, neglect, or improper care
  • Third-party alterations or repairs
  • Products purchased second-hand or from unauthorised retailers

Making a Warranty Claim

We’ve kept the process simple. If you think you’ve got a warranty claim, email us at [x@swaetravel.com] with:

  1. Your full name
  2. Order number or proof of purchase
  3. Product name
  4. Clear photos of the issue
  5. A short description of what’s gone wrong

Our team will assess your claim and get back to you with next steps. If your claim is approved, we’ll repair or replace your product at our discretion. If the exact item is no longer available, we’ll offer a comparable replacement.

Shipping Costs

Within the first year: we’ll cover return shipping for approved warranty claims.

After the first year: customers are responsible for shipping the product to us. We’ll cover shipping for sending the repaired or replaced item back to you.

Repair-First Approach

Where possible, we’ll aim to repair your product to extend its life. If a repair isn’t an option, we’ll offer a replacement.

Final Notes

This warranty applies to original purchasers with proof of purchase from Swae. It is non-transferable. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by this warranty.
